From 1892

The story of the castle

The roots of Laitse Manor date back to 1637, when it was established as an independent manor, separated from Ruila Manor. Over the centuries, the manor has belonged to several noble families, including the von Ullrichs and the von Mohrenschildts.

Under the leadership of Woldemar von Uexküll, a new, neo-Gothic-style main building was built – a romantic castle completed in 1892 that gives the site its recognizable character to this day.
