What data we process

Data you send us. If you contact us by email or phone, we process your contact details and message content so we can reply and arrange a booking.

Web analytics (PostHog, EU). We use PostHog’s European Union cloud (eu.i.posthog.com) to understand how the site is used — for example pages visited, referrer, device, and approximate location. By default this runs in a cookieless mode (data kept in browser memory for the session).

Session recording (consent only). If you accept cookies, PostHog may record your session (page movement, clicks) to help us improve the website. This uses cookies / local storage to distinguish visitors. Recording stays off until you consent.

  • Cookieless analytics — legitimate interest in understanding and improving the website.

Sharing

Analytics data is processed on our behalf by PostHog Inc. in the EU service environment. We do not sell your personal data. Enquiry data is not shared with third parties except processors needed to provide the service.

Retention

We keep enquiry data as long as needed to respond and arrange a booking. PostHog analytics retention follows our project settings (on the free plan, typically up to 1 year).

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, object to processing, and — where processing is based on consent — withdraw consent. Contact info@laitsecastle.ee. You may also lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon).
